Welcome to our home
A family home, open for your holidays
Whether you stay in a self-catering cottage or a B&B room, we want your time with us to be a lovely memory, from the moment you arrive until you leave: the table d’hôtes (home-cooked dinner with your hosts), afternoons by the pool, outings in the valley.
The house is in Loupiac, in the Lot, between Sarlat, jewel of the Périgord Noir, and Rocamadour, gem of the Quercy. Tell us what would make you happy and we will take care of the rest.

Around us
Between Sarlat and Rocamadour
Romanesque abbey, clifftop château, decorated caves, medieval towns: the valley’s great sights are less than forty minutes from the house.
113.6 km17 min drive
Romanesque art · Souillac
Built in the 12th century, the abbey church is, together with Cahors Cathedral, the only Romanesque church with a row of domes still standing in the Haut-Quercy. Inside, the carved figure of the prophet Isaiah ranks among the masterpieces of Romanesque art.
214.1 km22 min drive
Château · Sainte-Mondane
Perched above the valley, the fortress where the writer Fénelon was born can be visited fully furnished, from the kitchens to the battlements. Ridley Scott filmed scenes from The Last Duel here.
318.2 km21 min drive
Prehistory · Payrignac
Two caves to visit: the first tells the story of how the rock formations grew, the second is home to ibex, mammoths, giant deer and human figures painted nearly 30,000 years ago.
Our tip: Just a stone’s throw from the house, a real prehistoric and geological treasure.
425.3 km32 min drive
Sanctuary town · Alzou Valley
Clinging to the cliff, 150 metres above the Alzou, the town has watched over its Black Madonna for more than a thousand years. The sanctuaries, a stop on the Way of St James and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are reached by the 216 steps of the great staircase.
530.3 km38 min drive
Medieval town · Périgord Noir
Capital of the Périgord Noir, Sarlat is a string of cobbled lanes, stone-tiled roofs, grand townhouses and half-timbered houses. Its covered market fills the former church of Sainte-Marie, redesigned by Jean Nouvel.
