Privacy policy
This translation is provided for information only. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
This page explains what personal data we collect on this website, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the loi Informatique et Libertés (French Data Protection Act).
Data controller
DKBJ, operator of Maison Les Chandelles, represented by its manager Jennifer Dolisy, 265 route de la Carrière, 46350 Loupiac, France. Contact: maisonleschandelles@gmail.com, 06 83 91 45 66.
Contact form and satisfaction survey
When you write to us using the contact form, we receive your name, your e-mail address, your preferred dates if you give them, and your message. When you answer the satisfaction survey or send us a complaint, we receive your name, your e-mail address, the accommodation and dates of your stay, your rating and your message. This information is used only to reply to you, to prepare your stay and to improve our welcome. It is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes.
An automatic acknowledgement is sent to the address you provided. It does not repeat the content of your message.
Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual measures) and our legitimate interest in replying to the messages we receive. Retention period: the time needed to deal with your request, then no more than 3 years after our last exchange.
Messages are sent by e-mail to our inbox (Gmail, Google) and a copy is kept on the server that hosts the website.
Bookings and gift vouchers
Bookings, payments and gift vouchers are handled on the secure elloha platform (Constellation SAS), which opens in a new tab. The data you enter there (identity, contact details, payment) is processed by elloha and by its payment provider Stripe in order to carry out your booking, in accordance with their own privacy policies and our terms and conditions of sale. We keep booking information for as long as our accounting and legal obligations require (in particular the fiche de police, the police registration form).
Cookies and audience measurement
This website uses no advertising cookies and no audience measurement tools. Fonts are served from our own website, without calling on third-party services. Only technical cookies needed for the website to work may be set; they do not require your consent.
Links to Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps or local websites take you to their sites, which apply their own rules.
Google reviews and Instagram posts
Google reviews are displayed using the Trustindex plugin: they are stored on our website, and displaying them may load a few elements (icons, authors’ profile pictures) from Trustindex and Google servers. The latest posts from our Instagram account are displayed using the Smash Balloon plugin: the images are stored on our website, without your browser connecting to Instagram. The “Leave a review” and “Follow us on Instagram” links take you to Google and Instagram, which apply their own rules.
Digital welcome booklet
Our welcome booklet is provided in the La Clé app. It only opens if you choose to view it (link or QR code); the app then applies its own privacy rules.
Immersive 3D tour
The virtual tour of the estate was created by AERIAL studio using Matterport technology. It only loads when you open it. It may then set its own technical cookies and measure its use, in accordance with the rules of Matterport and AERIAL studio.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to the processing of and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at maisonleschandelles@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority) (www.cnil.fr).
